Cranberry Compote


1 bag cranberries
6 oz orange marmalade w/ rine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups chopped pecans
1 teaspoons nutmeg


1) Wash and pick over cranberries.
2) In a 9x13 brownie pan mix cranberries, sugar, marmalade, and pecans together.
3) Bake at 300F, stirring every 15 min.
4) After 45 min, mix in nutmeg.
Optional: Add a splash of brandy at this point too.
5) Remove from heat at 60 min. Cool completely at room temperature and then chill in refrigerator. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools.
